• About Small Groups

    Mosaic's small groups are at the heart of what we do as a church. They are the foremost place in which relationships are built and in which people connect with God through prayer, worship, service, generosity, and Bible study. People often find that they discover some of their passions and abilities in the midst of meeting with and working with their small groups. They meet throughout the week at various locations.     Sundays at 4:00M

    West Philly

    Family-friendly. This group seeks to connect to God while providing a fun atmosphere open to all. We meet every Sunday! Childcare is available each time we meet for a small fee.

    Tuesdays at 7:00PM

    West Philly

    Young Professionals. This group is talking about the Bible--what is it? How is it meant to be read? What do we do with parts of the Bible that challenge or even upset us? We will do this by reading and discussing excerpts from Inspired by Rachel Held Evans, praying, and sharing food together.

    Tuesdays at 7:30PM

    West Philly

    This group meets to connect through fellowship, Bible study, worship and prayer. We enjoy sharing yummy snacks and bad puns together!

    Thursdays at 7:00PM

    This group focuses on building friendships and learning practices that develop your mind, body, and spirit. We also share a meal together!

    Women’s Small Group. We meet weekly to explore life in Christ together, praying and encouraging one another.

    First Monday of the Month at 6:00PM

    Supper Club. You are invited to Supper Club, a place for anyone who is hungry, lonely, or in need of community. Everyone is welcome to join us in a simple homemade meal & fellowship. We’re kid friendly!

    Second and Fourth Mondays of the Month at 7:00PM

    West Philly

    Exploring Prayer. This biweekly gathering offers a safe space to explore ways to connect with God through different prayer practices such as lectio divina, ignatian spiritual exercises and centering prayer. There will also be optional time set aside to receive prayer and pray for one another.
